- Recommended Carrier: We strongly recommend and default to FedEx for all parts shipments due to its superior track record of reliability and on-time delivery compared to USPS and UPS. Based on our internal performance tracking, FedEx consistently demonstrates a higher percentage of successful, undamaged, and on-time deliveries
- Signature Required: To ensure safe and secure handoff, our standard shipping method is FedEx Signature Required. This ensures shipments are not left unattended and significantly reduces the risk of porch piracy or delivery loss.
- Insurance Policy (No Additional Insurance Purchased): We do not purchase additional third-party or carrier-added shipping insurance for standard shipments
- Reasoning: FedEx enforces exceptionally strict packaging and inspection requirements for damage claims. In our experience, the vast majority of insurance reimbursement claims are ultimately denied by carriers due to these rigorous technicalities, making added insurance an ineffective safeguard.
- Alternative Shipping Methods: If you choose to have your parts shipped by any carrier or method other than our default recommendation (FedEx with signature required and no added insurance), you assume all responsibility and liability for any lost, stolen, or damaged shipments.
