They cut fast, have a long blade life and will save you material.
In our opinion the only disadvantage is since they are thinner, you must use more care.
If your saw vise is tight and your blade aligned well with quality blade flanges they will cut smooth.

Tumbling Supplies
We offer a selction of the most common tumbling grit sizes. Our kits contain larger quantities of the coarse and medium stages than the Pre Polish and Polish stages. In our experience we have found we use way more grit in the first 2 stages. Some materials may need to be tumbled in coarse for several weeks and will require frequent “re-charging” of your grit. Pre Polish and Polish stages are generally short and require very small amounts of alumninum oxide, especially if you are using a Mini-Sonic tumbler for those stages.

Hand Polishing Pads
Diamond hand polishing/sanding pads are ideal for polishing granite, marble, glass and concrete. Electroplated diamond hand polishing pads are more aggressive and suitable for polishing granite and concrete. The electroplated diamond hand polishing pads are also widely used for smoothing out edges of glass.
A set of diamond hand polishing pads comes with 7 pads of different grits, 50 grit, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500 and 3000 grit. 50 grit through 400 grit are electroplated and 800 grit through 3000 grit are resin bonded pads.
